Train Derails In Oakland - 30/12/2009

A train derailment in Oakland Monday night didn't cause any damage, but it blocked traffic on Main Street.

According to Oakland police two Pan-Am box cars jumped the tracks while traveling through Oakland around 9:15 Monday night.

The boxcars did not tip over.

The cars were blocking traffic between Main Street and Oak Street.

Nobody was hurt, and there are no reports of damage. Investigators do not know why the cars jumped the tracks.
