URS Corporation is seeking an Associate Business Manager III to be based in our Boise, ID location.

Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:

• This position will report to the Project Business Manager.
• Under direct supervision, this position follows well-defined policies and procedures.
• The position performs assignments requiring competence in all conventional aspects of an accounting discipline, requiring independent thought and judgment, and usually reports directly to a higher-level position within the business administration job family or indirectly through another area such as accounting.
• Assignments at this level are usually developmental.
• The position must demonstrate the ability to apply business administration and accounting principles, theories, concepts, techniques and sound professional judgment to a variety of problems to meet strict deadlines or other time-sensitive goals.
• Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall accuracy.
• The position supports and assists in project compliance with accepted accounting principles and company policy and procedures.
• Completed work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Depending on specific assignments, travel will be required.
• Assist in the month end closing process for the project (e.g. journal entries and supporting schedules).
• Assist in the preparation of the project financial statements.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations as required.
• Assist in the monitoring and forecasting of the project and the indirect cost component of the EAC.
• Prepare client billings and monitor timely collection.
• Assist in A/P functions, including processing Subcontracts.
• Assist in craft payroll timekeeping, procurement, and inventory systems as required.
