Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you will establish and update the Detailed Project Schedule (DPS) in accordance with the DPS procedure, including leading the harmonization and integration of sub-schedules from all parties (functions, subdivisions) involved in the project. You will need to challenge all inputs from all parties. You will regularly track and report progress against the baseline schedule and continuously monitors risks and opportunities as well as proactively develop scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans required. You will also produce schedule-related KPI’s as required by the project. You are an important member of the Change Control Board.. You will support Project Manager in discussions related to delays and/or improvements of the schedule.
You will support Project Manager or Supply Manager representatives communicating detailed schedule objectives or issues to suppliers or partners. You will maintain direct contact with peers in partner companies and manages schedule development and follow-up as a whole within the consortium You will also maintain direct contact with peers in partner companies on detailed schedule development and reporting; cooperating proactively with lead planner and peers in partner companies.

In your role you will:

Establish and update the DPS based on common objectives within the project;

Monitor and report on schedule progress and deviations within all parties involved in the project;

Be responsible for communicating the DPS, and changes thereto, to all parties involved in the project;

Monitor critical path(s) of the schedule to identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation or recovery plans;

Make any internal contacts, and in a consortium also external contacts, needed to perform the duties;

Lead meetings related to DPS topics;

Manage, with the support of all Project Core Team members, the effective communication to all parties of the DPS and updates thereto;

Ensure that schedule implications of changes dealt with the Change Control Board are made visible and clear prior to decisions to being presented to the Change Control Board;

Ensure that the Project Controller is regularly updated with any and all progress or delays to the DPS to secure that implications to the EAC are monitored;

Ensure that the Risk and Opportunity Manager is regularly updated with possible threats or opportunity derived from present or future deviations to the DPS.


As our ideal candidate:

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Administration or Math will be considered as an asset;

You possess a minimum three (3) years of experience working with Critical Path Method (CPM);

You possess working experience either in Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Procurement, Bids, Sales, or Finance;

Your previous work with complex systems type projects will be considered as an asset;

Your knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is good;

Your English communication skills are excellent.
