To satisfy our expanding Services division and upcoming bids,
We are looking for Support Services Managers for our future facilities across the United States.

Please note that all positions are contingent upon being awarded the contract.

Your Role

Administer the functions and activities related to the administration of the contract and reporting functions. Documentations of the deliverables, coordination of the material, purchasing and compliance issues as well as facility maintenance. Ensure budgetary compliance and proper functioning of the material control, purchasing functions and facility maintenance. Manage sub contractors as required.

Your Challenges
Manages the following departments; Preventative Maintenance & Materials, and Training & Documentation. Ensure full compliance to contract, regulatory requirements and Bombardier Transportation policies. Ensure all employee training is completed on schedule and that records are kept in full compliance with corporate expectations.
Coordination, administration and responding to customer requests and contractual obligations. Advise other departments of and ensure full compliance to the contract with the customer as well as subcontractor contracts. Act as a liaison between site and corporate legal services.
Support operations/maintenance in maintaining the fleet, implementing new projects, administering warrantee activities, development and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Develop policies, programs and corrective actions necessary in managing the business. Communicate these policies and programs to the site team effectively, efficiently and ensure compliance.
Supervise personnel so as to obtain maximum efficiency while applying company policies and procedures. Prepare evaluations for direct department staff, review evaluations of other departmental staff. Performs other related duties as required. Advise staff on technical, budgetary and operational matters as is necessary
Cross train and cover, as needed, other departments in the areas of Operation and Maintenance. Serve as ‘weekend duty officer’ when and if required.


Your Experience and Qualifications

Bachelors degree is preferred; a post secondary degree combined with relevant experience will also be considered.
10 years of combined experience in procurement, material management, just-in-time, cycle management, and inventory combined with an experience managing facilities is required.
5 years of experience in contract administration within the rail/transportantion industry; preferably within an operation and maintenance environment.
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role will be considered an asset.
Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken are essential, French and Spanish are considered assets.
