The Portland Transportation Group is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Planning Manager to lead the Transportation Planning staff in the Portland, Oregon office.

The Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the section, which requires a combination of technical, administrative and business development/client relationship skills. The section provides environmental documentation, facility planning, urban design and conceptual design for a full range of transit and surface transportation projects.

The Manager will:
- Provide direction to the team to ensure the financial reporting, administrative requirements and project controls are attained
- Manage multiple priorities and track financial performance of the team
- Monitor QA/QC performance
- Monitor staff sold time and work backlog
- Lead marketing of transportation planning projects
- Resolve team-level conflicts
- Manage resolution of issues that arise with clients
