We are looking for a Manager, Quality Assurance and Test Lab for our site in Pittsburgh, PA. Your role Will be to support the inspection and testing of new designs; meet customer specification requirements on contracts going through manufacturing from production to field site start-ups and warranty period. The support effort includes: in-house and customer test equipment, engineering and production test requirements which includes: EMI, reliability, thermal (heat runs), software and qualification testing of systems, sub-assemblies, inverters, traction motors, gear units, etc. Provide quality control inspection on incoming material, first article inspection, final inspection, calibration and data tracking of operations and supply management performance. Your challenges Provide quality control inspection support for incoming material, first article inspection and final inspection. Provide engineering and production test support in the power lab (emi, reliability, thermal (heat runs), software, qualification testing, traction motors, inverters, etc.) Track testing, material dispositions, non-conformity cost performance in manufacturing. Provide and control the calibration of electrical and mechanical equipment. Provide in-house and customer test equipment. Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related experience 5 years of experience in a quality leading function Experience working with ISO standards
