Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities

Jacobs is seeking a Project Engineer to monitor track and bridge construction projects in the greater Chicago area. Selected candidate will provide plan reviews and shop drawing reviews, as well as construction inspection services for freight rail clients. Will manage all project documentation, maintain project photos, prepare daily inspection reports, monthly progress reports, and conduct/participate in project meetings.

Training and Experience

BS in Engineering discipline required, with PE preferred. Must possess a minimum 10-15 years demonstrated experience in Freight Rail and/or Transit programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Travel to area job sites as necessary.
