The rate of pay for this position is USD 23.35 - USD 31.13 per hour. Summary of Duties: Radio Maintainers work shall consist of installing base stations, mobile radios, affixing, connecting, testing, repairing and programming of all radio equipment. Performing routine maintenance inspections of radio sites and other duties as assigned. Education: Must have a high school education or equivalent with additional technical school training. Prefer ASEE or equivalent technical school training. Work Experience: Must have practical working knowledge of testing and maintaining two-way radio equipment and systems. Prefer proficiency with computers and networking. Other Requirements: FCC, GROL, valid drivers license. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Comments: Applicant must pass Amtraks practical radio maintainers exam/evaluation.
